APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) is a travel card for business travelers in the APEC region
APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) is a program in the framework of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) with an objective to facilitate business travelers who are members of APEC.

The ABTC is equivalent to a Visa and is valid for a period of 3 years.
ABTC holders may present it along with their passport in order to access other economic zones that also participate in the ABTC program. (a substitute of a Business Visa)

Currently, APEC members which have joined the program so far include 18 economic zones (from the total of 21 economic zones), i.e. Australia, Brunei, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, The Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam. The United States has also joined the program as a temporary member, meaning ABTC holders would still need to apply for a Visa before entering the US as usual.

Thai business operators with ABTC card who are traveling for a brief business trip can access the borders of the members of this program whose names are listed at the back of the ABTC card without having to apply for a Visa. ABTC holders are also allowed to use the special lane for APEC members (APEC Lane) at the immigration at the international airports in APEC countries.
