To help you plan a smooth, convenient, and efficient journey, we are updating the transportation options available for traveling to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport. You can choose from various modes of transport, including taxis, GRAB, AOT Limousine, self-drive rental cars, public buses, intercity buses, public vans, chartered buses, the Airport Shuttle Bus between Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airport, the airport’s internal shuttle buses, and the Airport Rail Link. Taxi services are available 24 hours a day at the Passenger Terminal, Level 1, between Gates 4 and 7 (inner curb). Three types of taxis are available: Regular taxis Short-distance taxis (serving areas around the airport within approximately 20 kilometers, as designated on the service map) Large taxis (van taxis) Passengers must collect a queue ticket to access taxis. The waiting time depends on demand. The base fare starts at THB 35 or THB 40, plus additional charges based on distance as regulated by the Department of Land Transport. A THB 50 surcharge applies, along with baggage fees per Ministry of Transport regulations. Located at Level 1, Gates 7-8. Service hours: 06:30 - 21:00. Airport Shuttle Bus (Suvarnabhumi - Don Mueang) The shuttle bus departs from the passenger terminal, Level 2, Gate 3 (inner curb). This service is exclusively for passengers transferring between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport. Operating hours are from 05:00 to 24:00, with departures every 30 minutes. The service is free of charge. Passengers must present the following documents: a boarding pass or flight confirmation, and a passport or national ID card. Passengers bringing pets into and out of Thailand with themselves "Living animals" are treated as restricted goods; therefore, an import permit from the Department of Livestock Development is required when passengers bring their pets with themselves into Thailand. Besides, they are not exempted from duty. Bringing Pets into Thailand with Passengers Documents required: Passport Pet Health Certificate Procedure: Passengers arriving at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and/or other international airports go through immigration checks and pick up baggage and pets The passengers take their pets and the documents required in item 1 above to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Animal Quarantine Station (AQS). Veterinary officials at the AQS will issue an import permit for the passengers if the pets meet the import permit requirements. The passengers present the import permit and their pets to Customs officers at the “Goods to Declare” channel, and make payment of duty and taxes. Bringing Pets out of Thailand with Passengers Documents required: Passport Certificate of Rabies Vaccination Certificate of Rabies Vaccination Procedure Passengers must submit an application for an export permit and take their pets for a health check at the AQS no more than 3 days prior to the date of departure The passengers present the documents in item 1 above and their pets at the AQS. Once the veterinary officials at the AQS have completed document inspection and animal health check, they will issue for the passengers an export permit as well as a Health Certificate, which will be required to be presented at related units in the destination country. Note: The Suvarnabhumi AQS is located on 1st Floor of the CE-1 Building, Free Zone, Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Office. Importing Personal Pets at Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Bureau Procedure at Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Office for Bringing Pets into Thailand Application for import permit for animals must be submitted prior to their importation at AQS, aquatic animal quarantine station, or wildlife quarantine station at the port of entry depending on the types of imported animals Register to be eligible to perform Customs procedure at Customs offices throughout the country. At the Free Zone, Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the registration can be done at General Administrative Sub-division, 2nd Floor, BC-1 Building on 0-2134-1232 For the importation of pets, there are two types of import declaration: Special Import Declaration (Kor Sor Kor. 102): Customs procedure for this type is as follows: An importer submits a Special Import Declaration (Kor Sor Kor. 102) to Customs officers along with: National Identification Card/Passport Original copy or photocopy of AIR WAYBILL Letter of Approval of Importation/Transit/Transshipment of Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 6) and Import Permit for Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 7) Customs officers examine the Special Import Declaration and supporting documents, and assess Customs valuation as well as duty and taxes The importer/agent makes payment for duty and taxes The importer brings their pets to the Customs officers for the release procedure Import Declaration (Kor Sor Kor. 99/1) : Customs procedure for this type is listed below: An importer submits import declaration data to the computer system of the Thai Customs Department and make payment for duty and taxes The computer system will automatically assign a Customs officer to carry out physical inspection of the shipment In case where the AQS, aquatic animal quarantine station, or wildlife quarantine station require an inspection of the shipment, the importer is responsible for contacting the warehouse to prepare the shipment and complete such inspection The assigned Customs officer will examine the shipment, its HS Classification, Customs valuation and import permit. If it is found that the declaration is accurate when compared with the shipment, the Customs officer will record the inspection result in the computer system. The warehouse will be informed of the release of the shipment from Customs custody, and the importer is liable for retrieving the shipment from the warehouse. Remarks: the Letter of Approval of Importation/Transit/Transshipment of Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 6) has to be issued prior to the date of import. Failing to do so is considered violating Section 244 of the Customs Act B.E. 2560 (2017). Temporary Importation of Pets An importer/agent submits Special Import Declaration (Kor Sor Kor. 102) to Customs officers along with: Passport Original copy or photocopy of AIR WAYBILL Letter of Approval of Importation/Transit/Transshipment of Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 6) and Import Permit for Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 7) Other evidence demonstrating the ownership of the pets Ensure that the shipment is bonded or guaranteed that it will be exported in six months from the date of import. In this regard, the name of the Customs House for the export of such shipment must be specified. Customs officers release the shipment of the pets and give a copy of bond and guarantee contract as evidence when exporting the pets Procedure for Exporting Pets at Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Office Exporters may perform Customs formalities for exporting pets by themselves as listed below: Apply for the export permit Sor Por. 5 or Sor Por. 6 depending on the types of the exported wild animals) and the Export Permit for Animals or Carcass (Letter Ror. 9) and a Health Certificate, whose requirements depend on the destination country (the exporter should consult with veterinary officials so that they could assist with examining the pets as required by the destination country) Contact airlines to reserve air freight  Register at any Customs offices throughout the country to use the e-Customs system. At the Free Zone, Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the registration can be done at General Administrative Sub-division, 2nd Floor, BC-1 Building on 0-2134-1232. Submit export declaration data through one of the four available channels: The exporters submit export declaration data by themselves Authorise a Customs Broker to submit the export declaration data Use a service counter located at Building “BC-2 & P2” and Building “AO 1-4” Use the service of submitting export declaration data provided by Customs officials at Customs Service Sub-Division 1, Customs Service Division 2, 1st Floor of Building “CE.” In this case, the exporters must provide data to be completed on the declaration form and National Identification Card or Passport, and make payment of Customs fee. The exporters or their agents go through Customs formalities by presenting to Customs officers Cargo Permit, Letter Ror. 9 (and/or CITES permits depending on the types of wild animals) and Health Certificate. Then, the Customs officers examine the documents and take the following steps: For Green Line: Sign and stamp in the Cargo Permit For Red Line: (the Customs officer randomly assigned by the computer system) conduct physical inspection of the shipment, and sign as well as stamp in the Cargo Permit The Customs officer will then return the Cargo Permit to the exporters/agents so that they could take their pets to weigh at the warehouse and pick them up. NEW GATE ประตูขึ้นเครื่องเปลี่ยนแปลงจากหมายเลขเดิม ผู้โดยสารสามารถตรวจสอบหมายเลขประตูทางออกใหม่บนแอปพลิเคชัน SAWASDEE by AOT เพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงความสับสน อีกสิ่งที่อยากแนะนำสำหรับมือใหม่หัดบินคือ ‘Boarding Time’ ไม่ใช่ ‘Departure Time’ Boarding Time ที่มักเห็นบน Boarding Pass คือเวลาที่เริ่มเรียกผู้โดยสารขึ้นเครื่อง มักจะระบุก่อนเวลาเครื่องออกประมาณ 30-50 นาที Departure Time คือเวลาที่เครื่องบินเคลื่อนตัวออกจากประตูสนามบินเพื่อเตรียมขึ้นบิน วิธีการตรวจสอบสถานะเที่ยวบินของตัวเองบน Flight Board ให้สังเกตที่หมายเลขเที่ยวบินและเวลาเครื่องออก หรือเพื่อความสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้นให้กรอกหมายเลขเที่ยวบิน พร้อมวัน-เวลาเดินทางบนฟีเจอร์ Flight Check ในแอปได้เลย หรือให้สะดวกมากกว่านั้นอีกให้เลือกแจ้งเตือนสถานะเที่ยวบิน (Flight Notifications) ระบบในแอปจะส่งแจ้งเตือนสำคัญต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้คุณติดตามสถานะเที่ยวบินได้แบบเรียลไทม์ ไม่พลาดทุกไฟลต์บินแน่นอน
Connecting Flight Procedures inside SAT-1 Step 1 After disembarking the plane, passengers proceed to the central area on the 2nd floor of SAT-1, which is designated for connecting flights. Step 2 Passengers without a boarding pass shall go to the airline counter to issue a boarding pass and proceed to Security Checkpoint, and then take the escalator or elevator up to the 3rd floor, which is the departure area. From there, walk to the boarding gate for boarding. Connecting Flight Procedures from SAT-1 to the Main Terminal Step 1 After getting off the plane and entering SAT-1, passengers proceed to the B2 floor to board the APM train to the main terminal. Then, proceed to the 2nd floor, which is the arrival area. Step 2 For an international connecting flight, walk to Transfer Desk, following the signs “Transfer Desk” and “Connecting Flights Gates A, B, C, D” or “Connecting Flights Gates D, E, F, G”. Step 3 Passengers without a boarding pass shall go to the airline counter to issue a boarding pass and proceed to Security Checkpoint, and then walk to the boarding gate for boarding. Step 4 For domestic connecting flights, passengers proceed to the 2nd floor after arriving at the main terminal. Follow the signs “Domestic Connecting Flights”. Then proceed to Immigration Customs Formalities and security check procedures at Security Checkpoint. And walk to the boarding gate. Passenger Transfer Procedures from the Main Terminal to SAT-1 Step 1 After disembarking, passengers walk to Transfer Desk by following the sign “Connecting Flights Gates S101 – S128” to reach the transfer counters. Step 2 Passengers without a boarding pass shall go to the airline counter to issue a boarding pass and proceed to Security Checkpoint. Step 3 Passengers proceed to the B2 floor to board the APM train to SAT-1. Once at SAT-1, proceed to the 3rd floor, which is the departure area, and walk to the boarding gate for boarding. Step 4 For passengers arriving from domestic flights, after disembarking, follow the signs “Transfer for C.I.Q. Passengers” and “International Transfer for C.I.Q. Passengers” proceed to Security Checkpoint then follow signs “S101 - S128” and proceed to the B2 floor to board the APM train to SAT-1. Once there, go to the 3rd floor and walk to the gate for boarding.
International Departure Procedures: getting to SAT-1 from MTB Step 1: After checking in, and passing through the security checkpoints and passport control Step 2: Passengers can board APM to SAT-1 by going around the back of the "Scene of the Churning of the Milk Ocean" sculpture and noting the "S101 - S128" sign. After arriving at SAT-1, ascend to the 3rd floor, where there is an open gate waiting area with shops and restaurants along the way. Passengers can then proceed to the designated gate for boarding.
